How do I get protein on a juice fast?
This is a subject that really gets me. People think
that only animal products have protein; these people couldn’t be any more
wrong. Spirulina (blue green algae) has more protein that any other type of
food on earth. That’s right, you can eat a steak and still get less protein
than ingesting some spirulina. It comes in a powder or a tablet. Mix some in
with your juice. Chia and hemp seeds are also packed with protein and can be
mixed into any juice. Chia seeds also have tons of other healthy benefits. Fact:
A healthy vegan gets just as much if not more protein then a non-vegan. Our
bodies aren’t made to digest animal proteins either. I’ll get into that more
later.
